- 1 cup Methi leaves -washed and finely chopped-
- 1 tbsp Garlic - .(grated)

- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
- 2 tbsp Mustard oil
- 1/2 cup For dal -Moong chilka (green dal) -
- 1/4 cup Masoor dhuli dal
- as per taste Salt
- 1 pinch ,hing-
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp For tadka - desi ghee-
- 1/2 tsp Cumin
- 2 Clove
- 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
Steps to make to make Sarson,methi ki bhujia,moong malka dal
- Heat oil in a karahi,add cumin seeds, green chilli,garlic and saute for a min.Add salt,red chilli powder, turmeric powder,coriander powder and chopped saag. Cover and cook for 10 min.on low flame.Now roast it on a medium flame.
- Soak both the lentils in water for 10 min.Cook these lentils with salt, turmeric powder and water(3 cups) in a cooker.After first whistle,slow down the heat.Switch off the gas after second whistle.
- For tadka heat ghee in a pan,add hing,cumin seeds,clove and red chilli powder.Add cooked dal into it and cover it to intact aroma.
- Your sarson saag bhujia and dal is ready to serve.Serve it hot with chapati or rice.
