- 1-2 tbs desi ghee
- Half cup yogurt
- 2 tbs ginger garlic paste

- 2 tbs dhaniya powder
- 1 cup fried brown onion
- 1 tbs garam masala powder
- 2 tbs Lemon juice or white vinegar

- 4-5 tbs raw papaya paste
- Rice
- 1 kg rice
- Salt to taste

- Boil mutton as I used to boil first specailly when I am using qurbani gosht otherwise no need for boiling. marinate mutton with marination ingredients for 7.8 hours or over Night.
- Add spices and desi ghee. put it in refrigerator.
- Soak rice.boil water.add green chillies, salt, cumin,Bay leaves in water.after boiling add soaked rice.when rice are 3/4 th done. strain water.
- Put marinated mutton in a wok start cooking on low flame.Now layer up rice over mutton.
- Add mint leaves, brown onion,green chillies and yellow colour over rice. cook on low flame.
- Sprinkle crushed nutmeg.put on dum. when mutton and rice are soft.turn off the flame
- Served hot with raita
