  4. Add boiled daal and water and cook on high flame till water starts boiling.
  5. Wash and clean the rice and soak for 15 minutes. Then add rice in boil chaana daal, garam masala and cook for 10 minutes on high flame till water dries.
  6. Cover the lid for dum.
    Turn on low heat flame on stove then place a flat tawa underneath it and simmer for 15 minutes on low flame.
  7. Serve hot with any chutney or Achar.
    Garnish with fried onions.
